These days having a space that I can relax in and that is calming is more important than ever. With the kids learning from home and all of the changes happening this year I really love having a space to retreat to. I’ve noticed these spaces always have the same 5 things in common. Candles all day every day! I absolutely love them! I used to only light them when we were entertaining however in 2020 I changed that and now light them all the time. Daytime, nighttime, date night and family dinners. They just transform the space, add ambiance and just relax me. Nordstrom has such a great selection of my favorite candles like Diptyque, Capri Blue, Anthropologie and so many others.

C O Z Y B L A N K E T S
Blankets are one of my favorite ways to change up the look and feel of my living room. Not only do they help keep my white couches cleaner with kiddos but they help to create a cozy space. I switch them out throughout the seasons and bring out my heavier wool blankets in the winter and my lighter fabric throws in the summer. No matter what the weather is, there is never a day where I don’t want to be snuggled in a blanket. One of my favorite blankets is part of the Nsale and its this super plush one from Barefoot Dreams.

T H R O W P I L L O W S
Throw pillow are such a fun and easy way to update and change the feel of a room. I love finding textured pillows to add interest to a space. But the best part is it just makes lounging so much more comfortable and cozy! I love these tufted accent pillows from Nordstrom and this Hanna pillow by UGG because they are so soft and the texture helps to elevate the space.

N E U T R A L D E C O R
If you have been following me for a while then you know I love my neutrals. I find neutral home decor to be so calming. Lately I have really been loving styling my kitchen counters and I found the most beautiful wood cheese boards that have so many uses. Here I styled them with cook books, Candles, This beautiful stoneware bowl by Vietri and wood balls but even fresh fruit would be great!

F L O W E R S
Buy flowers for yourself! It is crazy how something so small can make such a huge difference in your home. I love having fresh flowers in my house. They just make me happy. But I also love that I can use beautiful vases and that is also the easiest decor. Whether it is in your kitchen or on the coffee table or even a centerpiece for your dining table. It freshens up your room and just makes it feel like home.
O U T F I T D E T A I L S
This outfit is the ultimate in cozy loungewear! This long cardigan is so great for fall and so, so soft! It comes in many other colors as well. This one is going in and out of stock during the sale but I am hopeful they will do a restock. These Joggers are so soft. They have a wide waistband and snug cuffs making the body of the joggers really lose and cozy. They are also made of a comfortable organic cotton knit fabric and come in a black color way as well. I paired these pieces with an ultra soft basic white tee!
