Cozy Sweater – Styled 2 ways…

.

.

When you find that perfect sweater…and you ponder how to style it??  I’m very used to wearing more oversized sweaters, so when I fell in love with this cozy-fitted number I had to think twice about styling it.  Because of it’s more fitted nature I immediately thought about wearing it with a looser pant.  I love the balance it creates.  And bonus…I found some great jeans for you that instantly elongate your legs!  Shoes are always a challenge with this type of pant leg.  Flats will not work…unless you are really tall or get the length hemmed.  So I’m linking some shoe options for you too!  Keep scrolling below to see more of this LOOK and to see how I styled this exact sweater with a completely different pant style….

And bonus this top is under $60 and has the best reviews!

Style Tip:  I would recommend sizing up on this sweater.  Even though it’s supposed to be more fitted…I found it to run a little small.

This look is more fitted.  I also think this look is more appropriate for Night.  But can easily turn into Day with swapping out the heels for sneakers.  Again I dressed it up here with an arm stack of gold accents.  And added a playful detail with these animal print high heel pumps.  I love mixing casual and dressy pieces.  Even though these shoes are a bit loud I’ve been able to wear them with more than expected.   So in a way it’s been working like a neutral with my wardrobe.  The exact pair I’m wearing is from Sam Edelman but from 3 years ago.  I found some very similar pairs that I’m linking in this post.

Thank you so much for stopping by today.   On a side note I wanted to say that my heart goes out to anyone who is affected by all of these hard times we’ve been seeing lots of lately.  There has been so much loss and pain.  But there is also so much good in this world.  We can never give up hope.  I’m thinking positive for you, your loved ones and anyone affected by these hard times.  Sending prayers.

xx,
