When I think of Fall makeup I immediately think of rosy cheeks, a refined eye and a statement lip. Unless it’s for a very dressy occasion I like to keep my eye make up fairly minimal while pairing it with a bold lip. And I love this time of year to get a little more experimental with makeup. Especially with holiday parties and events coming up …it’s the perfect occasion to get a little more playful. Today I’m teaming up with Nordstrom and Tom Ford and I’m so excited to share my Fall Makeup look and some new favorite shades!

First I started with a clean face and then applied this illuminating primer. This instantly gave my skin a dewy glow! I also love how it dispenses…you just turn the top of the bottle and the pump pops out. Next I mixed my moisturizer with Tom Fords “traceless” foundation. It has just the right amount of coverage and it also has SPF 15. (This is the applicator I used). After I added under eye concealer, mascara and very thin line of eyeliner. Next I did a quick sweep of Tom Ford’s bronzer. The color I’m wearing here is called Terra 02. I applied this on my cheeks, forehead and at the bridge of my nose. (This is the brush I used) After I finished off the look with a bright-bold lip. This color is from their Ultra-rich lipcolor collection. It is called 16 Gala. To be honest I was a little worried it would be too bright of a color but once I put it on it really gave that Pop…in a good-flattering way! Another thing I really liked about this lipstick (other than the prettiest white packaging) was how long it lasted and I didn’t need to use a lip liner. I’m personally not much of a fan of lip liners anyways…but was even happier that this lipstick didn’t need one.

PRE PARTY

The pre-party started with getting downstairs 10 min ahead of schedule (SHOCKER)…to chill by the fire with a glass of pinot while we wait for our Uber. Heading out soon to meet some friends for dinner….
