Happy Tuesday my friends! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! We celebrated Father’s day this year at the beautiful Terranea Resort.  What a gorgeous place!  They hosted their annual “Music on the Meadows” music festival…it was so fun!  We had yummy food, drinks, played lots of fun lawn games while listening to live music.  And we couldn’t have asked for better weather too!  Well we are now back to reality.  I honestly did not want to come home.  We are currently living out of our garage.  I didn’t think the disorganization would get to me…well it is now starting too.  BTW: total champagne problems…lol.  For those that don’t know we are remodeling a few things around the house.  New paint, flooring, kitchen island, etc.  We are leaving most of kitchen cabinets and just re-finishing them.  Can’t wait to see how they turn out…and to have a working kitchen again!

In other news…let’s talk about this beautiful dress!  I typically do my shopping online but I actually picked this dress up in-store. I saw it and couldn’t wait to try it on! It fits amazingly and is so comfortable. I’m wearing an XS here. I absolutely love the ruffled sleeves and the eyelet pattern and scalloped hemlines are so pretty. It comes with a removable slip so it’s not see-through. Because the dress is very sweet, I paired it with some booties, a darker toned bag, and some fun earrings to give it a more modern look…but you can always pair it with some strappy sandals and clutch and I think it would look great as well. This is definitely more of a day dress so I would keep the makeup neutral. It would be perfect for a shower, brunch, or even a daytime wedding!

P.S. Did you know that Anthropologie now offers FREE Shipping on all orders over $150…YAY!

You can shop this dress here and below…(I also love this one!)

Happy Thursday!  We’re so close to the weekend…yay!

I woke up at 3:30 am this morning.  I had nightmares of forgetting appointments, graduation ceremonies, deadlines…pretty much anything you don’t want to forget.  I think I always get really stressed and emotional this time of year when the kids are about to finish up the school year.  To me it’s a reminder of how fast they are growing.  I know these are all happy milestones but I can’t help but get sad sometimes when I think about it.  Growing pains I guess.  But even though the school year is ending I am so excited to have a fun Summer with my kids!

Last weekend my mom and I spent the day at the gorgeous Pelican Hill Resort and Spa in Newport Beach, CA.  This place is amazing!  If you’re ever in the area or want a place to stay in So Cal you must check it out!   The pool is one of the prettiest pools I’ve ever been in.  It’s only 3 1/2 feet deep from end to end.  And It’s heated!  BTW: I’ve been in some “heated” pools before…that are cold. I have to say I’m a wuss when it comes to cold water…and this one is so nice and warm!

We started our day with a delicious lunch in our Cabana from the Coliseum grill.  We ordered the humus and veggie plate, chicken wings and an ahi poke salad with 2 glasses of procescco.  Lunch was delicious and very fresh.  And I must say…champagne and a little sun was oh so nice.  (fyi… there is a pop up on their website for a complimentary appetizer on your next visit!)  Afterwards we had a pedicure appointment at the SPA and enjoyed relaxing in their lounge next to this beautiful wall fountain (see pics below).  After Pedi’s we headed back to our cabana….swapped swim cover ups and took a dip in the pool and hot tub.  ♥

Had to snap some pics of my beautiful mama.  I love her ♥

I am so excited to share with you this pretty, light knit cardigan.  I love when I find one that looks fresh and modern. This cardi is super soft and the prettiest shade of light gray + white. It’s super light and airy and perfect to throw over jeans (or shorts) and a tee!

(fyi) It also comes in other colors, i am wearing a M here.

You can shop the cardigan here and the rest of the look below…

Happy Friday girls!  This top is made for a night out.  It runs true to size. I’m wearing the XS here.  Please NOTE: this material is very sheer.  I’m wearing it with a nude strapless bra and a nude tube top over it.  This top also comes in other colors…not sure if the darker ones are less sheer?  Anyways…it’s a gorgeous top.  I love this style.  I tucked it into my jeans and added heels and big earrings.  If you have any questions about this top please send me an email or comment on my latest instagram post.

Hi friends! ♥ I hope you are all having a beautiful day!

I’m currently remodeling my house so it feels like I’ve been doing a million things at once. Since I’ve been running around so much, my daytime looks have pretty much been joggers + jeans + repeat.  But I  actually love dressing up joggers to create a chic and comfy look, so I wanted to show you how I would style them and hope it gives you some inspiration!

If you subscribe to my newsletter you will have already seen this jacket. It’s from THACKER (I’m wearing an XS) and I absolutely love it! It’s so lightweight and easy to pair with anything from jeans to joggers to dresses. It looks whiter here, but in-person, it’s a beautiful cream color. I was wearing the joggers and tank around the house and throwing this blazer on was the perfect way to dress it up to wear out. (Plus it will it will keep me warm!)

These joggers are super soft and comfy! I’m wearing an XS here. They are more of a cotton ribbed knit than sweatpant material and I love how they can be dressed up or down.

This structured bag looks small but it still fits your phone, wallet, keys, lip gloss..the perfect size for running errands.

Happy Tuesday girls!  I wanted to share these quick pics with you…  This top is a find from Anthropologie and I love the embroidery.  I’ll be honest.  It is a lot of fabric.  My favorite part are the sleeves and of course the beautiful embroidery!
