Spring Lips

Happy Weekend to you!! For this post I’m stepping out of my comfort zone and trying some new bright shades that I think will be perfect for Spring! I’m really picky when it comes to finding the perfect lipstick or lip gloss. I have pretty dry skin so I’m always looking for anything moisturizing and that includes my lip wear. I tested some colors and will include all the details below.

This color I’m wearing (below) is called: Nars “impossible red”. I thought it would be more shiny but it is a moisturizing matte finish. Coolest part. I did not notice any bleeding. Whoop whoop to that. I did notice a bit of transfer on my teeth but that is just from the initial application. The color lasted a couple hours and is a very rich, striking shade. I think it will be so pretty to wear with a spring dress…or even a white Tee shirt and jeans. Please note: The color I’m wearing in the last photo at the very bottom of the blog post is called: Nars “mineshaft”. That color is very similar to this shade but is more of a truer Red. What I love about these 2 colors is how vibrant they are. An easy way to brightened up your complexion.

This color I’m wearing below is called Bobbie Brown: Bright Pink 20. It’s a little bit more on the thick side, really shiny and gives your lips a plumped look. It comes in other pretty shades too. (here)
