Happy Friday friends. I have been getting a lot of questions recently about what to wear to a special summer event. I know a lot of you have Graduations to attend, Baby or Bridal showers to go to or that are in your honor. So to help you find something special for your events…I headed to Nordstrom to find the perfect outfit. Nordstrom did not disappoint. I found the most unique jumpsuit that I wanted to share with you. It’s definitely a statement piece that would be so memorable for any event. It is so fresh and fun. I normally don’t gravitate to ruffles but if there is a way to make them a little edgier or unique then I am all in. I’ve also added a few other looks as well to help you find something that may work for an event you have coming up. Scroll down below to see what I found and how I styled it.
Jumpsuit
This jumpsuit is a really pretty and unique garment. This Frill Bandeau Jumpsuit from Topshop features a Ruffle on the right side that travels down the entire length of the right side. It also can be cinched at the waist with the provided tie or you can belt it to dress it up a bit. I would say that it runs true to size and is a nice mid weight fabric. It is strapless with a back zip closure and is really comfortable. Even though this jumpsuit is generally not see through I would recommend wearing nude undergarments and obviously a strapless bra. This jumpsuit comes in two colors…Ivory and also a really pretty light blue. You can pair it with sandals, a casual tote and some statement earrings or heels and edgy jacket for a fun night-time look. This look is so fun and will make any event memorable.
