Today I’m teaming up with Banana Republic to show you some of my favorite New arrivals for Spring. I’d also like to get a little personal and share with you what moves me.
Having a business where I can help and inspire others…be creative…be able to work from home to spend time with my kids…and be true to myself, makes me feel so proud. I started my blog almost 3 years ago and, to be honest, I had no clue what a fashion blogger even was. It was just a creative outlet for me and I had no idea I would have so many amazing opportunities. In the beginning, there were so many times that I doubted myself and just wanted to stop… but my followers (you!), family and friends kept me going. Your continued support… positive comments…and sweet messages. I am where I am today because of you!
So, huge thanks to you! And now…on to the clothes!
I know I tend to stick to neutrals, but I was drawn to this blazer for so many reasons…the cut, the contrast, quality, and comfort. I also LOVE the fact that it doesn’t wrinkle…which makes it perfect for traveling! It not only has exterior pockets but an inside pocket as well. (Perfect for hiding my “Juicy Fruit” gum and lip gloss!) I feel like it’s classy enough to wear to the office or meetings but it’s also stylish enough to wear on a dinner date. One of my favorite ways to wear a blazer is like a cape! It makes it feel more edgy and casual. I styled this blazer with a casual Tee and wide leg cropped pants. I love the bit of flare you see when you move. Fyi: these pants run large.
