This week officially marks the first week of fall! Summer is still in full swing during the day here in San Diego but the evenings get nice and cool. The beginning of fall is one of my favorite times of year when you kind of get the best of both worlds. Still living that summer life but at night you can have the fire on. I turned ours on last night with some candles and a glass of wine, while playing shopkins and hatchimals with my daughter…lol. With all the fun new decor out I got inspired to redo my front porch. And, since it is now officially fall I feel like this is now acceptable so, I’m so excited to share with you how I changed up my porch for Autumn this year and to share a new fall look I put together for less than $99! T R E N C H C O A T
This faux suede trench coat is so good. I can’t even say enough about the quality and at a price point under $30 it’s an incredible piece to add to your wardrobe. This would be such a great autumn basic to throw on over honestly any outfit. This coat is the traditional trench silhouette with a belted waist. Another way to wear it would be to tie the belt behind your back in a bow to give more of an open cardigan look. This coat comes in three pretty colors perfect for fall. If you are in the market for a new jacket I would definitely check this one out.
S H I F T D R E S S
This shift dress is really affordable and a great piece for not only the end of summer but well into fall. The quality is really great, it’s thick and has weight to it. The sleeves are cute and cuffed to add a little extra detail. This can be paired with booties or over the knee boots, wide brimmed hats and scarves, jean jackets or even a leather moto jacket. The outfits you can create with this basic dress are endless. You will get a lot of use out of this one this season and at this price you can get a few colors. And, the best part is this dress comes in 27 colors so there is sure to be one or more that you love.
K N E E H I G H B O O T S
These boots are also from Walmart…microsuede slouch boots … the price is great too! They come in black and cognac and come up to the knee. Also, the heels on these boots are flattering. These boots would go great with dresses, leggings or with denim jeans tucked into them. Please note that they are slouchy. I noticed that I had to pull them up from time to time while wearing them.
