Hope you had a great weekend! I can’t believe it’s already been a week since we were at Disney?!!!! This weekend we had my mother in law visiting from out of town for my sons birthday…so we were busy with dinner celebrations, sports, errands.etc. I’m really excited for Spring break coming up! We’ll be taking a mini trip to the desert for a warm little getaway. When we get back I’ll be unpacking then packing again for a work trip to Dallas. I still have not even thought about what to pack or wear on that trip…I better get my bootie move’n!!
Today I teaming up with Walmart to show you a few of my favorite pieces from their Premium brands Lord & Taylor Shop. I have found a lot of great deals on so many name brands that I love. Walmart is all about “High-Low style” meaning they offer everyday brands along with luxury designers to best suit your style AND budget.
PANTS
First off, I want to talk about these gorgeous white slacks for Spring. These are HALSTON wide-leg pants that are normally $139…. I found them for $56.71… SCORE! These pants fit very flattering they don’t hug your legs too tight and drape nicely down. I did have to steam them after I got them in the mail but once I did they looked amazing. They have a really cute “eyelash” detailing down the two front seams in the middle of the legs that is really unique and nice looking. I could tell right away when I was putting them on that they were great quality. I am wearing them in the color CHALK. These pants are a great option for any Spring time events coming up like weddings, church, parties, work events, etc. Definitely a great investment if you are in the market for some great slacks and for a great price. (FYI they run true to size I am wearing size 0, however: they are a bit long on me to wear them with flats (I am just shy of 5’7), so I wore a 3.5 inch heel and the length was perfect).
SWEATER
Next, I want to talk about this V-neck sweater. This sweater is Vero Moda! I was so excited when I saw that they offered this brand as one of Walmart’s Premium Lord & Taylor brands. I have gotten a few sweaters from this brand and they have always been good quality, soft, and comfortable. This exact sweater is $35…. but on Walmart.com it’s $28! I love the texture and trim along the sleeves and around the waist. You could dress this sweater up with slacks like I did or just pair it with jeans, either way it’s versatile. I am wearing it in the color SEPIA ROSE… however, it does come in two other colors! (FYI it runs true to size but I sized up to a S for a little more length).
HANDBAG
I brought the whole outfit together with this adorable Louise et Cie clutch that I found for an amazing price! The quality of this bag is amazing you can tell that the bag was made very well and the leather is genuine. I love that you can hold it as a clutch OR you can pull the chain out for a little more length to be worn over your shoulder. Either way, it is a very classy and sophisticated handbag in a very neutral color making it pair well with most outfits.
