We just got back from a fun quick family trip to Joshua Tree since the kids were on spring break. It’s so beautiful out there! If you are in need of a little R&R I highly recommend it. I wanted to pick up some summer looks for the desert that would help keep me cool and found so many fun pieces at Nordstrom. I love a good white monochrome look for the summer because it has such a fresh polished look. I found the prettiest wide leg pants that have two matching tops. I styled both for you and can’t decide which I love more. Also sharing two tote bags perfect for summer that I think you’re going to love.
B U T T O N U P T O P
I’m a huge fan of light weight button up tops and this one is so good. It’s extremely soft and made from a cotton gauze to give that linen look. It’s very breathable and would be great paired with denim shorts or even white denim skinny jeans. This button up top is a high low tunic design to give you a little more coverage in the back which is great. I love the fresh white but it’s available in 5 color options…I also have the black. I’m wearing a size small here.
O F F T H E S H O U L D E R T O P
This off the shoulder top is so pretty… I’m obsessed. It’s so soft and really comfy. Made from cotton so its breathable and perfect for hot summer days. I’m wearing it in a size small. It comes in black and a pretty blue color as well. This top could also be paired with a maxi skirt or high waisted denim. I would recommend wearing neutral undergarments. While it’s not see through a bright or colored bra would show through.

If you are looking for a lightweight cotton pant for summer these are it! Made from a textured cotton weave that gives a linen vibe. They have a smocked waistband and have some stretch for the perfect ft. They are a wide leg silhouette making them extra comfortable in warm weather. I paired them with the matching tops above however, these would also be really cute paired with a vintage band t-shirt or to be worn over a bathing suit. I also have these in black…they come in 6 color options. For reference I’m just shy of 5 ft 7, wearing the size XS.

This tote is so good and is a great price point. I have it in the natural/black color but it does come in two additional colorways. It’s the perfect summer tote, woven from two-tone seagrass straw. It’s fully lined, has a magnetic snap closure plus a leather zip pouch that’s detachable. Great for at the beach if you want items to have extra protection. This bag has two different sized handles so you can choose to carry it like a top carry tote or use the larger straps and put it over your shoulder for a hands free look. It has a nice wide base for stability too so it won’t fall over.

This tote bag is so beautiful. It’s made in Italy from woven raffia and trimmed with a pretty smooth leather. It has a top carry handle and a removable crossbody strap for when you need to be hands free. The quality is so good and it’s very spacious. The inside has a zippered pocket and a pull through leather strap at the center to help hold it closed. It would look great paired with all your summer looks.
