GIRLS DAY IN…WITH DAVID YURMAN

Some of my favorite days are spending one on one time with my daughter.  We love to play tea party,  have mani-pedi’s, play dress up and we love our cuddle time.   We like to call these special moments with our kids G.E.M’s  (Genuine Encountered Moments).  This is when we are totally present with them…no phones, no tv, no distractions.  And from experience, I have to say this makes all the difference.   Today my mini and I are teaming up with David Yurman, featuring some Mother’s Day gift ideas and to share their beautiful line of kids jewelry!

TEA TIME

Whether it’s with real tea…or pretend tea, we love our Tea Time.

But the cookies are almost always real…

MANI PEDI’S

I’ll never forget the first time I took my daughter to get a “Real” mani/pedi.  It was the sweetest thing.

Her face lit up and was so excited to be like a big girl.  We love at home mani’s too.

I’m in love with this ring.  I love how it looks like a bunch of rings layered…but it’s really all in one piece!

I styled these 2 gold bracelets (here and here) stacked together like a yin & yang.

My daughters necklace is so beautiful.  It has an adjustable clasp to make the length a little longer or shorter.

GIRL TALK

Probably my most favorite is our girl talk and cuddle time.

We share stories, sing songs & almost always laugh.

These are moments I want to freeze forever.

DRESS UP TIME

Having a big imagination is such a gift.

We love to play princess and always have so much fun accessorizing.

This bag was actually my mom’s when she was little, then she handed it down to me…and now it’s my daughters.

She keeps it in her costume box so we can use it when we play dress up.

With Mother’s day just around the corner these pieces would also make the perfect gift!

You can shop our pieces and other favorites below…
