MY COZY "HOTEL INSPIRED" BEDDING!

I have to say that I feel ALL GROWN UP after our bedroom makeover!  I don’t know why we waited so long to finally get the ball rolling…but I’ll just pretend that “good things come to those that wait”…lol.  When designing this space I was very inspired by our recent hotel visits from this last year.  I wanted to bring that clean, cozy Hotel feel into our own bedroom.  It’s pretty amazing to think about how many hours you’re actually in your bed.  Good rest is so important, and I do believe that creating a calm, soothing, comfy space will help you get the best sleep.   I’m also always very inspired when I make a trip to the Spa.  With that being said I incorporated a few pieces to get that SPA feel at home.  Candles, essential oil diffuser, a robe & fuzzy slippers ready by the bed.

I’m completely obsessed with how our bed turned out and I’m loving our new bedding so much!  I usually select bedding that’s all white…however I wanted to do something a little different but still staying true to my aesthetic. I love this bedding by SFERRA!   It features a double row of tailored satin stitching along the border of the duvet cover, flat sheet and shams.   It’s made with Egyptian cotton.   Today I’m so excited to be teaming up with Bloomingdale’s to share their luxurious bedding lines and a few pieces you shouldn’t sleep without!  Bloomingdales has so many different bedding options in all different colors and styles.  Click here to see their collection of luxury bedding.   Bloomingdales also has a rewards program that allows you to earn points while shopping no matter how you pay!   Join to be a loyallist here

I also want to mention my absolute favorite slip pillow case that I use every night with this bedding.  It’s a serious game changer when it comes to getting a good night’s rest, good skin and good hair.  I’ve been using it for a couple months now and I’m hooked.  I have not noticed a huge difference in my skin yet but feel so much less guilty sleeping on my side, and no more sleep marks!  As far as my hair…it’s a lot less crazy in the morning.

One thing I always keep on my nightstand is a gratitude journal.

I use it every morning and night (ok almost).

It’s a great way to set your intentions for the day!

You guys are definitely on these pages…always so grateful for you!!

If you’ve been following me for a while you know that I’m a super fan of cozy!

So happy that our bed is just as or even more cozy than my wardrobe!

I love this bedding so much!

NIGHTSTAND FLOWER TIPS

I go back and forth accessorizing my nightstand with real and fake flowers.  Of course my number one choice (for looks) is to display the real deal.  But I’ve been noticing that the CON list has been getting bigger and bigger.   Here are a few reasons why it would be worth finding and investing in fake flowers or plants for your nightstand:

  1. MAINTENANCE:  You need to change out the water almost daily.  And don’t forget to trim the stems
  2. ODOR:  sometimes real flowers can smell really good.  And sometimes they dont.  I have a super sentitive nose so any smell nearby (especially while sleeping) is noticed.  Also the water can get weird smelling too if you don’t change it.
  3. HEAT:  not sure about where your master bedroom is located in the house…but ours heats up so fast since it’s upstairs.  Heat vents are sure to kill even the most robust plants if they are too close.

FAKE PLANT ARRANGEMENT DIY!

I love thinking out of the box!  And in this case thought outside of the toothbrush holder.  I found this beautiful marble one and stuck these faux succulents into each hole.  Easy Peasy DIY!!  And so easy to try this.  If you do, please send me your pictures or tag me on your ig or ig stories.  Would love to see!!
