MY WEEKLY WORKOUT ROUTINE

Hi girls! August is almost over and before we lose those hot summer weekends, my family and I headed out on a nice hike! San Diego is so gorgeous and there are so many hiking trails hidden everywhere.  Some of our favorite hikes are “Annie’s trail” in Solana Beach,  Torrey Pines in La Jolla and the Batiquitos Lagoon trail in Carlsbad.  Another hiking location in San Diego that I still really want to check out is the super popular “Potato Chip Rock” in Poway! It looks like a Pringle potato chip and also from the right angle it looks like you are on a giant cliff/ledge. You might have seen it on instagram…it’s a pretty popular spot for get’n the gram.   

Some of my favorite workout activities include hiking like I mentioned, elliptical, tennis and recently I’ve been taking yoga classes.  My weekly workout routine is:  Mon/Tue Elliptical 30 min and weights for 10min.   Wed: OFF.  Thursdays: Tennis.  Friday:  Yoga.  Weekends are usually when we take our hikes, but I never put it on my schedule to workout on the weekends.  I usually just play it by ear…wink wink.  

When you workout clothing is Key. You need comfortable stretchy pants and really great shoes to make sure you are comfortable and can enjoy your time! I found this entire outfit at Backcountry. These leggings are so good. I got them in a few cuts and colors.

I like them because they are made of antimicrobial material that is also moisture wicking.

Super important when you are working out or doing an activity in the heat.

The fit of these are true to size and the fabric really holds you in. They come in so many other colors. 

 
 

S P O R T S   B R A


I am really picky about my sports/yoga bras. The coverage has to be right, the material has to be soft and it needs to be supportive. This one is low-impact support and is perfect for light yoga or everyday wear. 

It comes in a few other colors too and is really comfortable. It has removable pads which is always a plus!! 

I have a weird thing about feeling claustrophobic in sports bras, especially taking them on and off because of how tight they are…LOL.  For that exact reason I always size up one!

This pullover is really cozy! It’s oversized sleeves and extended length gives it a nice relaxed fit.

Also perfect for lounging around the house in. I love to throw this on after a yoga and it’s perfect for
