Introducing “Stylin Aylin HOME”. A new series that’s tapping back into my roots. Before my style blogging days (which is my current full time job)… I was an interior designer. I got my bachelor degree in interior design at SDSU. I worked in the design field for many years designing interiors for clients, model homes & commercial spaces. Since I was a little girl I’ve always had a passion for interiors & fashion and I’m so thankful to have a space today where I don’t have to choose just one. This week’s Stylin Aylin Home is all about neutral fall home decor. Fall is one of my favorite seasons because of the crisp air, falling leaves, the crackle of the fireplace and of course all the cozy layers and fun accessories. I also find a sense of new, motivation and inspiration with the new season. Below I’m highlighting a few of my favorite items…
T H R O W B L A N K E T
I love a good throw blanket and this one is beautiful. It’s cozy and would look great at the end of your bed or draped over your living room accent chair. Nothing says fall to me more than curling up by the fire with a cozy blanket & a coffee…or glass of wine lol
P U M P K I N M U G S
I’m obsessed with these pumpkin mugs. They’re so great for the holidays. I love how they’re understated and timeless. Such a nice way to celebrate the new season while not sacrificing a pleasing neutral aesthetic. I can’t wait to pull mine out this fall.
D I P T Y Q U E C A N D L E
This candle is amazing. It’s one of my favorites. The smell reminds me of a high end hotel or lodge lobby. It’s a great holiday or winter candle with notes of firewood and cedar. It instantly makes a room feel cozy and inviting.
N E U T R A L V A S E
This vase is so beautiful and budget friendly. It’s a great decorative piece on it’s own that would look great on a shelf or bookcase. However, would also look amazing with some beautiful flowers as a dining table centerpiece or on the kitchen island.
C A N D L E S T I C K H O L D E R S
These are a great home decor staple. I love how modern and sleek these candlesticks are. Would be great on a fireplace mantle, console table or can be used as a centerpiece for the holidays. Pro tip: use an LED candle so you can have that firelike glow whenever you want and the candle always looks perfect.
