Aloha! We just got back from Hawaii & I wanted to share the pieces I packed, the outfits I wore & even my vacation skincare & makeup. I made sure to pack the best of the best keeping you in mind for your upcoming trips. I was so happy with what I found this year. To be honest in prior years it was more of a struggle to find great pieces but this year I got really lucky finding beautiful new arrivals. Some are very budget friendly but they look expensive. Others might be a little bit of a splurge, but they are beautiful that definitely look quality. And as always, I look for comfort being number one. I gravitate towards soft fabrics and pieces that feel good on the skin. Athleisure is one of my go to styles no matter where I am. Having a good linen button up is a must have closet staple. They’re so versatile and can be paired with leggings, joggers or used as a swim cover up. This one is beautiful I picked it up in both black and white. I always travel with a belt bag, a wide brim hat for warm weather destinations and a comfy pair of sneakers. I’ve been wearing these ones on repeat. I also love this visor. It has a removable terry cloth pad that you can throw in the washing machine to help your hat looking brand new.
I am so happy that I was able to find so many beautiful swim cover ups. Like this lace knit dress by elan. It also comes in black and is a really good price. This swim cover up dress is so pretty it is a pricier item but you can get so much use out of it. Also, if I could only bring one pair of wide leg pants this pair would be it. I actually ended up wearing these on my travel day home and was so comfortable on the flight.
When I go on vacation I really focus on skincare and do minimal makeup. I love that fresh dewy look and the chance to let my skin breath. I’ve been loving this face cleansing oil from sulwhasoo. If feels so luxurious and moisturizing. I have also shared this before but this rich cream from Augustinus bader is so good. I honestly can’t live without it. I love adding a little foundation to it for a tinted moisturizer. I recently discovered this face sunscreen and I love it. Also, one of my tried and true products is this eye brightening pen from YSL. It really does make you look like you go a full night rest.
When traveling I want to feel put together but most of all I just want to be comfortable. I love wearing matching sweat sets or wide leg pants with some layers. I also never travel without my noise cancelling headphones and this travel pillow that is such a game changer…especially on long flights. Don’t forget your favorite pair of sneakers and hand sanitizer. I love this one they have so many amazing scents to choose from.
I love packing pieces with bold patterns or bright colors when on vacation like with this dress. This dress is so beautiful and looks expensive but you won’t believe the price. I love the pleats and the fit is so flattering. I’m also loving this beautiful target dress that easily dresses up or down. I’m also a huge fan of statement pieces and this shell necklace is so beautiful and elevates any look.
