NEUTRAL decor inspo

This week’s Stylin Aylin Home is all about neutral home decor. I love mixing high and low pieces when decorating any space. Baskets are a must have in my home, they work as decor but are also functional to keep throws and pillows in. Don’t forget to add in some greenery. I found a realistic faux tree in case you don’t have a green thumb or want the fuss of a live one. Be sure to check back for my next Stylin Aylin Home. More tips and decor pieces coming soon.

This neutral piece of wall art from Targets Studio McGee collection is so beautiful. It would look great over a mantle, behind a couch, or even above an entry console table. It’s a great size, 30 x 30 and the price is so good. This abstract piece would fit effortlessly into any space and would instantly add character. Design tip: If you ever find a small abstract piece of art you like, but have a large space to fill…try buying two, and hang one upside down. It will look different enough and appeared to be a series instead of a duplicate piece.

This sofa is a beautiful contemporary style with clean lines and maximum comfort.  The fabric is a special stain resistant and durable one. Meaning if you have a house full of kids you don’t have to worry about having a light colored couch anymore! It does come in several colors and you can choose which side you want the chaise lounge on to perfectly fit your space. This collection is available in multiple pieces and customizable fabrics, leathers, and slipcovers.

Adding a little greenery can make all the difference in a room. I love either real fiddle leaf or olive trees for a pop of color and nature. However, if you don’t have a green thumb then you’ll love this faux option that will always look amazing. I love the fullness of this one and the pot that it comes in. This one is a little on the pricey side but it’s so realistic it’s worth the splurge in my opinion. Plus you know it will never die!

I love white oak. It’s so beautiful, and this cabinet is good. It’s great added storage for anything from books, or electronics to fine china. I also think this piece would be pretty just styled with neutral vases and coffee table books etc. The color is beautiful, it’s organically aged with a patina finish. The hardware is a brass that has a champagne finish. This cabinet is versatile and classic would look beautiful in many different decor styles.

Adding a mirror to your space is a quick and easy way to make your room feel larger and also brighten it up a bit with the added reflection of light. I love adding mirrors over console tables and on fireplace mantles. But I especially love a floor mirror.  They work in a great room or a bedroom and can be styled so many ways. This one is a great size and price and will add a beautiful modern touch to any home.

Woven baskets are both a pretty and functional piece of decor. They’re great for next to the sofa to hold your throws and blankets. Also by a console table to hold your shoes or handbags. I found two really cute baskets…this one is a nice deep option to fit your throws. This one would work great for shoes etc. Both would look amazing in any space and add a nice organic detail to your home.
