I love a good SAVE and Slurge find, and today I have a full head to toe look that you can recreate on a more friendly budget. With Fall in full swing and the holiday season right around the corner…I wanted to share one of my GO-TO staple looks. The camel cashmere sweater, black skinny jeans, booties, etc. I’m so happy with the pieces I found at Nordstrom and think you’re going to have a hard time figuring out which is the save and which is the splurge!
CASHMERE SWEATER
The v-neck SPLURGE sweater is made of the softest cashmere which is what makes the price tag a bit higher. But quality material is so worth it and lasts a lifetime if taken care of properly. Neutral colored sweaters are the best winter staples…and this one is so cozy, warm, and versatile. It can be layered over tanks, paired with denim jeans, sequins slacks, skirts or even under a vest. This one is available in several color options but I personally love this camel color.
My save version is honestly just as good as the splurge. A little less soft and a bit more fitted… but budget friendly and you can achieve the exact same look. Side by side you can barely tell a difference. Click here for the SAVE version.
DENIM JEANS
I’m a huge fan of Good American Jeans. Two of my favorite pairs are GA. The fit is so good and they are extremely comfortable. The fabric is stretchy and soft and are just so flattering. I swear they get better with every wash. I love this black pair and wear them year round. They go with everything from casual day wear to dressed up date night. These are my SPLURGE item but honestly for how much use you can get out of these the price is worth it. But aside from that fact they are reasonably priced in my opinion.
