Hi everyone! For those of you who haven’t met my hubby…this is Jeff! He’s the creative eye behind the lens of Stylin by Aylin, loves golf, poker, geeks out big time on electronics, likes to surf, is the most amazing father to our 2 kids…and is the love of my life. We just celebrated 14 years of marriage and wow time does fly. I know this sounds so cliche…but our wedding day feels like it was just yesterday. Well I’m beyond excited to have Jeff join me on the blog today! We’re teaming up with Nordstrom to share some of our favorite Mens styles, new arrivals and sharing some things we’ve learned along the way to a long lasting relationship.
I styled his look more modern casual here. Jeans, comfortable button up shirt, sneakers…but dressed it up with the watch and stylish shades. Depending on your guys office dress code…this could also be a great work look! Plus it’s transitional enough to hit up happy hour after a long day. I’ve always loved squarish framed sunglasses on Jeff. Here are 2 options I recommend: ted baker sunglasses and these Boss sunglasses.

Cutie wearing Bonobos…
This is a newer brand Jeff’s been rocking lately. This exact shirt was actually his anniversary gift this year, along with me finding a sitter and surprising him with dinner reservations. Thanks aunt Shelly for babysitting! When I saw this shirt it was pretty much love at first sight. As you might know I’m obsessed with the color grey and when I saw this 2 toned check top I knew it would make the perfect gift. Ladies…it’s soft too and I love the quality! Every relationship has their ups and down but here are a few tips we try to live by…
.
“Laugh and be silly”
Jeff probably thinks I’m crazy, but when I get in a silly mood I speak with the Borat accent. Do I think I sound attractive? No. Do I do it anyway? Yes. I think it’s so important to laugh, be fun, silly and yourself.

“Date your spouse”
We try to go out on a date at least once a week. Even if it’s just for an hour. It doesn’t have to be a big expense either. Although the most expensive date nights for us involve a late night run to Target before we head home…eeeek.

“Feelings”
This one’s good. When I need to confront Jeff about something that is bothering me I always need to step back and make sure I’m not going to accuse or go in attack mode. That only makes the other person get defensive and that is such a hard place to get out of. I approach the uncomfortable situation by telling him “how that made me feel” instead of telling him what he did wrong.
