THE STYLIN GUIDE

Welcome to my new series…THE STYLIN GUIDE.  A magazine where I’ll be styling different looks for each season, occasion and all the special moments in between.  As always you can count on me to be your personal stylist.  I’ve always had a love for helping and making others feel good and special.  I want that for you and hope you find inspiration on my page.  I also love sharing tips and little ways you can feel more confident in your day.  As far as styling goes I dress for myself and no one else.  It’s very important to put in that extra thought in piecing  things together so you feel good.  I know that’s not always easy…which makes my job even more important.  And, even more of a bonus that styling outfits is one of my FAVORITE things to do & brings me so much joy.  I’m so grateful to be that resource for you.  With my interior design background I also have a love for styling interiors.  So you will definitely be seeing some home content in my upcoming Guides.  This months Stylin Guide is all about FALL.   I found so many beautiful coats and boots that will be great closet staples for years to come.  I even included some budget friendly pieces to achieve some of my looks without the designer price tags.   I’ll be releasing a new Stylin Guide monthly so keep a look out for the next magazine!

Style tip: mix in contrasting knits & textures. Here I’m styling this cozy V-neck sweater dress with an oversized coat/cardigan, knee high boots, woven tote bag, oversized sunnies and dainty jewelry. This cardigan runs naturally oversized. I’m just shy of 5-7″ wearing the size small and the size small in the sweater dress. Don’t forget to layer in your favorite perfume.

 Fall is one of my favorite seasons because of the crisp air, falling leaves, the crackle of the fireplace and of course all the cozy layers. I also find a sense of new, motivation and inspiration with the new season. This Stylin Guide is all about Fall and my favorite color combo. From cozy sweater dresses, cardigans and coats. Don’t forget a light weight scarf…it’s the perfect extra layer to complete your look.

When I pulled this puffer vest out of the box is was love at first sight. The cushy-ness, softness, warmth and quality was noticed right away. I also love how it’s reversible. You can either wear it black or cream. And the cream color is stunning btw. Both have the zip up functionality. Please note is runs naturally oversized. I’m wearing the small here however that was the only size available at the time. I would have preferred the xs.

Style Tip: wear your favorite flowy shirt unbuttoned over your tank or tee for a more casual, relaxed look. Btw this is a mode I strive for most days. Whether I’m on the go or lounging at home. For the look in the top-right I tied the look together with dainty jewelry, tote bag and oversized sunnies.

Take on a fresh color combo with cream & black. This cardigan is great quality and the price is right too. It runs true to size however I sized up one for a more oversized fit. Wearing the size small here and I’m just shy of 5-7″. These boots are also made for walk’n. They are ultra luxurious, definitely a splurge item but the quality is a 10+. Please note they run small. I’m also going to be sharing a more budget friendly version. Also, here’s a handbag that has that same quilted look and you won’t believe how good the price it.

  My love for layering runs deep. Here I’m styling this gorgeous ruana over a basic tee & one of my favorite jeans. BTW speaking about these jeans I reach for them more than my over $100 jeans and the price and fit of these are soooo good. I’ve been a fan of them for years. Tied in the all the neutrals with the accessories.
