Vacation Style with Express

Hi my friends…Happy Friday!

One of the things that brings me the most joy in this world is making new memories with my family. We love taking weekend trips, getting away from all the laundry & to-do lists, jumping on hotel beds and spending quality time together. We love seeing new places and meeting new people. One of the fun things about packing for vacation is being able to get more playful with my wardrobe. Today I’m teaming up with Express to share some of my favorite pieces for spring, summer, and vacations along the way! Here we are enjoying our spring break at the beautiful Parker Palm Springs. We had lots of fresh squeezed lemonade, played bocce ball, croquet and spent hours swinging on their hammocks.

LOOK #1

This striped dress is a piece I will be wearing a lot this Summer. You can never go wrong with the classic Black & White combo. It’s comfortable and I love the shift style with the cute tie detail. This dress runs true to size. I’m wearing the XS here. Even though it’s more on the casual side…this would also be perfect to wear out to dinner. Just change up your shoes, add a bright, fun lip color, and add some fun earrings. I love these here.

LOOK #2

This look is another vacation favorite. The chambray is very soft and comfortable. (I’m never a fan of stiff or crunchy denim). Wear it day and night. Love the overlapping ruffle detail on the sleeve. It runs true to size. Wearing the XS here. This would also be a fun piece to throw on over your swim suit for a pool party or when heading to the beach. Would especially work great with a Bandeau style bathing suit (see here). This piece packs nicely too. I was able to easily get some of the creases out at the hotel room by hanging it by the shower for about 10 min.
