WELCOME TO MY HOME #STYLINAYLINHOME

WELCOME TO MY HOME!

Hey friends!! I’m so excited to be taking over the Liketoknow.it HOME page today.  I’m so grateful to be able to share my home with all of you! You can follow along here: @liketoknow.it.home.  I’m also including details for you below…

Hope you have a wonderful Holiday and a very Merry Christmas!

Btw: I absolutely love this sweater for any holiday parties! It’s cute, cozy, and on SALE at the moment! I ordered a size up to get more of an oversized to fit to pair with my favorite leggings of all time.  Btw: I would size up one on the leggings…I found them to run a little small. (Sweater: wearing the size S.  Faux leather leggings: Size Small)  As far as my kitchen goes we went for a modern farmhouse style when we remodeled and I absolutely love it! I found these cute woven barstools to add a little bit more of a neutral color into the mix. For the holidays this season, I added a simple eucalyptus wreath above my stove (which I will probably keep up year round because I love it so much). I also took a mini tree and put it in a large round vase as a cute more “farmhouse style” decoration for the counter top.

Step into my office…. I have to say this is where I get most of my content set up for you guys and am able to work the best.  We created this space during the remodel and it was one of the best decisions we could have made. I love having my own space to work that makes me happy and keeps me focused on whatever the task at hand.  We added these sliding barn doors in order to close off the space if needed. Recently, I swapped out my older pink velvet chairs for these more neutral colored ones and I love the change.

This is our outdoor patio area in the back of the house. The big game changer here was adding drapes to really make the space feel more cozy.  I also added a few more “homey” items like this little two drawer console, the chandelier, pillows, and of course the TV to really bring the whole space together.  During the holidays this season I have added a few mantle decorations such as the eucalyptus, stockings, and glass christmas trees to make it a little more festive!

Here’s another look at my kitchen.  I found this cute little light up “bar” sign that I absolutely love! I feel like it is the perfect addition for hosting a party at your home for decoration or actually making a little designated “bar” area.  I’ve added a pop of greenery here and there to warm things up a bit and add some neutral coloring.

I got 99 problems but making things COZY is not one of them….lol.  In case you didn’t know this already I am obsessed with pillows and blankets! One trick to making a room ten times cozier is to LAYER. Layer your blankets, layer your pillows, and even layer similar colors on top of each other. I have found that by doing this it really gives your room more dimension and depth.

Keeping it cozy by the fire in my winter uniform… or should I say year round uniform.  These cozy joggers and sweater have been one of my faves so far this season. They are so soft and comfortable I never want to take them off! Anyway, this is our fireplace area where I have decorated my mantle using this big round mirror to add some depth into the room.  I have also added some eucalyptus, glass trees, wooden candle sticks, and a cute eucalyptus tree for a little something extra during the holidays.

This is another view of my living room. We got this hanging chair not too long ago and it is definitely one of the best seats in the house.  It makes the perfect addition to our living room adding a touch of something different, fun, and stylish.

BTW: This dress is one of my all time favorite’s! I love the neutral tones, texture, shape, and sparkle! The silhouette is flattering and unlike most dresses I’ve seen this season.  As far as my home goes… this is our great room where we spend most of our time as a family.  My style is very neutral and cozy as you can see and I kept that theme throughout my entire home. Even during the holidays I like to add cute decorations here and there while still keeping it as cozy as possible.
