We recently went to Maui for a family getaway. It was so nice having my family there including my parents and brothers. We stayed at the Westin Maui and it was beautiful. They have a brand new tower with a private lanai that has amazing views of the ocean and sunset with a private bar and small bites. If you’re looking for a place to vacation I highly recommend Maui, however it did feel a bit crowded on some parts of the island. There are so many things to do on the island including snorkeling, eating, shopping, breweries, hiking, walks on the beach, etc. One of the places we visited was Chef Maja Liotta’s farm and it was an incredible experience. We even had fresh pressed sugar cane drinks. See below for what I packed for Maui. There are some fun colorful pieces…plus the controversial luggage protector…lol.
