Who else is dreaming about warm weather vacation destinations? I personally can’t wait to get a tropical vacation on the books for 2022. We’ve been lucky enough to see some amazing winter wonderland destinations but being a California girl, I’m so ready for some sunshine, rest and relaxation. I’ve put together a roundup of the items I would take with me. There are a few items I’m always grateful I remember to pack and always a few I seem to forget. In case that happens to you…I’ve got you covered. This weekend I’ll be sending out a printable PDF packing list with my Newsletter! So be sure to sign up. I hope this helps make your vacay prep that much easier! Keep scrolling for all the details.

When packing for warm weather we all know the essentials…a few cute dresses, swimsuits, swim cover ups and a good pair of sandals. I’ve recently been so impressed with some of the bathing suits I found on Amazon like this one and this one. I wore them all the time last year. Here’s another great one that can be work with skirts and pants that just looks like a tank top which I love. I also love when there’s a comfortable pair of sandals that are cute enough for the evening but also ones that won’t get ruined at the pool. Another tip is that I love to wear athleisure with a comfy pair of sneakers as my travel day outfit. That way I have a hiking or workout outfit with me as well and the sneakers don’t take up room in my bag.

My favorite accessories are probably sunglasses and wide brim hats when it comes to warm weather getaways. I’m currently obsessed with the new pair of Celine sunnies I recently picked up…If you are looking for a more budget friendly and stylish pair I also love these and they’re under $20! In case you are in the market for the perfect wide brim hat here’s one that I’ve loved since last year.

Vacation skincare for me is a little different than my regular regimen. My skin is more on the dry side and flying or traveling tends to make that worse. So I love to hydrate as much as possible. I use the rich cream from Augustinus Bader and while its more of an investment I honestly can’t live without it. I’m Obsessed. I mix it with my foundation too for a tinted moisturizer and also mix my serums with it at night. I love this facial mist too throughout the day and this lip mask at night. Also if you like eye masks this one is my favorite.

My haircare routine is as simple as it gets on vacation. Dry Shampoo, Good conditioner, a blow dryer and round brush is all I need for the most part. I also like my T3 curling iron, it works the best for me.

Travel essentials like a portable charger, Sleeping eye mask (which is my favorite item for even at home), Small portable steamer are things I’m always grateful I remember. Another thing I like to bring is a laundry bag like this one. That way my clean clothes don’t touch my dirty clothing when I have to pack up. You can also put bathing suits in there that haven’t fully dried.
