With school almost out…summer is officially (almost) here! That means lots of trips to the pool and beach. I think this summer I will be more about sun protection than ever before. I had a pre-melenoma scare a few months back. That was scary. Especially thinking back to all those sessions in the tanning beds, laying out with baby oil….geeesh! What was I thinking back in college??. Best thing I can do now is to limit my sun exposure and keep me and my kids lathered up with lots of sunscreen and hats.
Here are some of the products that I keep with me in my beach bag. My new favorite hair styling spray is from Beauty for real…for AERIE. It’s made with Sea Salt and Marine water…and gives your hair instant beachy texture. Stay tuned for a separate post with more details on this! The face wipes are a must. Especially if your face tends to sweat. After… I love spraying the Evian mist to hydrate. Once that absorbs I reapply my sunscreen. And don’t forget to hydrate! We’ve really been into Alkaline Water lately…it’s like magic! I’ll have to write another post about the benefits…and why we love drinking it. . Happy early Summer! xo
