Does anyone else feel defeated after the New Year? I feel like there’s so much pressure for New goals, new resolutions, etc, etc. It didn’t help that my husband and I started the New Year with pretty bad colds. Talk about un-motivated. So I decided to give myself some grace and let go of the pressure to have all my dreams and goals for 2019 figured out right away. I’ve also experienced feeling burnt out after the craziness of the Holidays. So with all of this said, I’m really putting in more of an effort for “self care and wellness”. I have a beautiful bathtub that I hardly ever use and that is something I’m going to force myself to use more often. Well if you’re wanting to incorporate more self care you will love todays post! 1. DRAW A BATH : Keep your phone ringer on silent…but tune in to the SPA or YOGA station on Pandora.
2. LIGHT CANDLES : This instantly sets the mood for relaxation.
3. HAVE A GLASS OF CHAMPAGNE/WINE : Or if alcohol is off limits then a glass of sparkling Peligrino is amazing!
4. TURN ON AN OIL DIFFUSER : Where has this been my entire life?? It makes your space feel and smell like a SPA
5. USE A SLEEPING MASK : I always get a best nights sleep when I wear a sleep mask. It blocks out all the light. BTW: I’m a light sleeper.

OK. I am obsessed with my new Essential Oil Diffuser! Where has this thing been my entire life??? It’s so cool how it softly sprays steam out of the top that makes the entire room smell so amazing. It instantly calms, relaxes and it totally reminds me of being at the spa. I’m obsessed. My personal favorites are the Quiet Essential Oil and the Ge (Geranium) Essential Oil.
I love to put this Sleep Aromatherapy Roll-On Oil on my wrists before bed to help make me feel sleepy.
