Hi, Semra here…Aylins mom. These little squares have the best combination of herbs and cheese to make a great appetizer. They also would make a great addition to brunch tables and picnics. If you try one, I guarantee you will want more.

INGREDIENTS:
2 cups flour (Linked Here)
1/2 cup oil (I use EVOO) (Linked Here)
1 cup plain Greek yogurt (Linked Here)
8 ounces feta cheese (Linked Here)
1/2 cup shredded gruyere cheese or (kaşar peynir) (Linked Here)
3 eggs (Linked Here)
1/2 cup fresh dill (Linked Here)
1/2 cup flat leaf Italian parsley (Linked Here)
1 tsp kosher salt (Linked Here)
1/2 tsp black pepper (Linked Here)
1 tsp baking powder (Linked Here)
1 Tbsp sesame seeds (Linked Here)
1 Tbsp black caraway seeds (Linked Here)
COOKING INSTRUCTIONS:
Heat oven to 350 F
* Place flour, salt, pepper and baking powder in a bowl and mix until combined
* In another bowl mix eggs, oil and yogurt together
* Add flour gradually and mix
* Add crumbled feta, grated cheese and the finely chopped herbs fold gently until combined
* Line 9×13 inch pan with parchment paper and spread the mixture evenly
* Drizzle olive oil and sprinkle the sesame and caraway seeds
* Bake 40 minutes, until golden brown.
* Cool 15 minutes
* Cut 1 1/2 – 2 Inch squares and serve.
