It’s time to put up our Christmas trees and I couldn’t be happier! The holidays are so special and making our houses warm and cozy is the best feeling. I love how much a beautiful tree adds to our living room. I somehow ended up without one this year so I’ve been on the hunt for a new one. I did find a few I really like so I’ll link them below. They can be really expensive especially when they are taller than 7’5″. So, I wanted to share my hack with you to save some money and still get the appearance of a taller tree. It couldn’t be easier and anyone can do it. All you need to do is grab any box that’s wider than the base of your tree. I typically get a box that’s about a foot tall. Fill it with heavy books or weights and place your tree on top. Then cover the box with a pretty plush blanket and no one will ever know.It also helps leave room for presents at the base which is great.
