Yay the weekend is here…and I can’t believe Thanksgiving is next week! We’re going to stay local but will be staycation-ing at one of our favorite hotels! I’ll be sharing lots more details next week. This look is super loungy & comfy! This cardigan can be worn casual or even dressed up a bit. Just add skinny jeans, a tank or cami, boots and you’ll be cozy in style. WHAT’S ON MY BREAKFAST PLATE
I go in waves of eating the same thing for breakfast. For a while it was oatmeal everyday, then it was cereal. Then smoothies. Well lately I’ve been having an exact combo of what I feed my kids. My daughter loves Avocado toast (which my son will NOT touch)…and my son loves scrambled egg breakfast burritos (which my daughter will NOT touch). So I pop 2 pieces of (gluten free) bread in the toaster. Scramble up 3 eggs. Heat a large tortilla. Divide the eggs in 1/2. 1/2 goes on my plate and the other 1/2 goes in the breakfast burrito. Then I split an avocado with my daughter. So basically my breakfast lately has been 1 avocado toast with a side of scrambled egg. I’ll admit when I’m in a rush I tend to skip breakfast…but being able to eat what I make the kids too is game changer. The protein keeps me energized in the morning. And I’m usually not hungry until lunch time.
