GETTING FALL READY WITH SOLE SOCIETY

Fall is almost here!  Cozy sweaters, layers & pumpkin lattes.  While it’s not the right weather for your knits quite yet I’m going to share some tips on transitioning & dressing for “Fall” right now.   I’m so excited to be teaming up with Sole Society to share these tips and some of their new arrivals that you can wear now and into the next season.

When purchasing a new handbag for fall I always consider 3 things. Color, material & size.  Now there are no set rules (I’m all for a white handbag year round!) but these are just my guidelines to help you narrow down your top picks.

COLOR

My most used bag from last fall was a pretty taupe color.  I literally wore it all the time and it magically went with almost every outfit. There are so many pretty Fall colored bags but I tend to gravitate towards the neutrals.

MATERIAL

From faux to real leathers, velvets, suedes, and fabrics…I look for richer textures when shopping for Fall.

SIZE

I tend to wear slightly larger bags in the Fall. It’s nice to have a little extra room for your cardigan or sweater.  I also love wearing cross-body bags.  It’s so nice to be hands free.

This satchel bag also comes with a long strap so you can wear it cross-body or grab the handles like I did here. It’s super roomy inside and I love the lining!  I always love a good bag with cute lining.

HATS

They are such a fun, easy way to add a little extra style to your look. And bonus…perfect for those bad hair days. This hat runs a little big but I have a super (Yes super) random Tip on fixing a loose fitting hat. Take a boob pad insert and safety pin it to the inside of the hat. I swear by this tip & have a few hats that are enhanced…lol.

SHOES

Look for greys, taupes and browns.  These shoes I’m wearing here are the perfect transitional shade because you can wear them now with summer dresses, jeans, tee, etc.  And you will also be able to wear them in the Fall with sweaters, longer dresses, jackets and more.

Thank you so much for visiting my blog today!

xx,

P.s. A big thank you to Sole Society for partnering on this post! Everything I share, as always, are my own thoughts and opinions.
