If there’s one thing I like when it comes to food prep, it’s quick, easy & convenient. I “used” to love to cook. I don’t know about you, but I need to be able to concentrate & have very minimal interruptions when I’m spending time in the kitchen. But having 2 little kids makes that almost impossible, so I’ve really let go of making big, elaborate meals. Frozen or take out food has been our savior.
I have to admit though….One thing that’s really suffered from this is getting in a good breakfast! That’s really important to having enough energy to get through the day. Today I’m so excited to be teaming up with eBay to share how I’ve been able to find a quick, EASY, &Healthy way to bring breakfast back in the mix. I’m also going to be sharing a few of my favorite recipes so you can make them too!!
I’m also sharing 2 other finds from eBay that have made my life so much easier in the kitchen! Btw…all of these items I purchased on eBay are brand new and there is no bidding necessary. This Ninja Blender that I found on Ebay has been a game changer! What I love about this blender is that it has easily brought back breakfast or a healthy snack that I can take on the go! I’m all about minimal steps and minimal parts to wash too.
I purchased the set which includes a big blender, smaller portion blending option & a food processor (see here). I use the large blender for making smoothies for the entire family. But mainly a fan of the smaller portion blender and here’s why. I take the cup, add my ingredients, close the lid with the twist on blade. Click it into the blender. Blend. Swap the lid & you’re done! If you want just that and don’t need to larger sizes pitcher and food processor you can find that here.
CHOCOLATE, BANANA RECIPE
1 cup organic spinach
1 cup Almond milk
1 scoop of chocolate protein powder
2 cubs of ice
1 tsp almond extract
Pinch of pink Himalayan salt
STEP ONE: ADD 8 OUNCES OF ALMOND MILK
STEP 2: ADD A BUNCH OF SPINACH
(I END UP ADDING APROX 1 CUP)
ADD 1 SCOOP OF YOUR FAVORITE PROTEIN POWDER
(THIS ONE IS A PLANT BASED VEGAN CHOCOLATE FLAVOR)
ADD 1/2 OR 1 FULL BANANA
ALSO ADD 2 ICE CUBES, 1TSP OF VANILLA EXTRACT AND A PINCH OF PINK SALT
THIS LID IS MY FAVORITE PART. YOU JUST TWIST IT ON, BLEND, SWAP THE LIDS AND YOU’RE OUT THE DOOR.

This post is geared more around breakfast time…but I wanted to share 2 other pieces I bought on eBay that have been a game changer for meals. (especially dinner time). It’s this Rice cooker and crock pot! I never thought I needed a rice cooker until I started using one. And I feel the same about the crock pot!
