HOW TO GO FROM DAY TO NIGHT

Happy Monday friends! I hope you all had a really wonderful weekend. With all the sales going on I picked up some new items that I’m excited to share. If you’ve been following me for a while you know that I’m a neutral girl! So it’s been fun to add is some non-neutral pieces latley. It’s fun to change things up from time to time. Unfortunately, we can’t always have a new outfit… so accessorizing is my number one TIP to easily change things up! Here are a few tips and tricks on how to change & elevate your look to go from day to night by swapping one or two pieces.

A great example is a graphic tee and jeans. This outfit can be so cute for an average day, however if you swap out your sneakers for a cute pair of heels and a blazer it changes an every day casual look to a chic polished one. Your handbag can completely change the vibe of an outfit as well. During the day you wear a tote bag that completes a great summer day ensemble then at night put on some heels and grab a clutch and your outfit is completely transformed to evening attire.

H E E L S

I love these slingback kitten heels. The pattern is so fun and for a flat shoe lover like me these heels are the perfect height. They have a cutout silhouette & sling-back with a hidden elastic strap detail for the perfect fit. Available in haircalf, suede & leather. I would recommend pairing these particular heels with denim jeans, work slacks or a pencil skirts for the workplace. FYI they run true to size.

G R A P H I C T ‘ S

Who doesn’t love a good graphic tee? Whether it’s a designer brand or showing love for your favorite band they are the perfect addition to any closet. I have paired them with joggers, jean shorts, midi skirts and skinny jeans and they always look so cute. If you top them with a blazer it looks so chic.

HA N D B A G S

Loving this ADY Small Satchel and even though it comes in a few colors I love this neutral color. It goes with everything and would be a great year round handbag. This bag has a removable crossbody strap, twisted handles & multi-interior pockets to help keep you organized. I also linked a few other great small bags f or a nightime look.

B L A Z E R S

I love a good blazer…especially thrown over a basic too or graphic tee. It’s such a fun look. I feel like everyone should own at least one. They come in handy for interviews, professional meetings or just to polish an outfit. Lucky for us there are so many on trend blazers available right now. Almost every retailer has one. I would recommend finding one really good basic blazer in a neutral or black color so it can be paired with more outfits.

H A T S

It’s no surprise that I love hats! And this season has had so many great ones. Hats are the best accessory and can completely change the look of any outfit. I paired my Bing graphic t-shirt with a black boater hat, denim jeans and this seasons Tory Burch Slides.
