Do you ever get stuck on what to wear in between seasons? I usually have a hard time finding what to wear especially when the morning start out so chilly and then warms up by the afternoon. Today I am sharing my tips on how to dress for transitional weather and sharing some new arrivals boots, shoes, bags and accessories from Sole Society!
My biggest tip on dressing for transitional weather is to layer, layer, layer! I’m not a fan of being cold or being too hot… so by wearing layers you’re able to be cozy and bundled. Then later you can strip off the layers to keep cool.
Here I styled these faux leather leggings with these gorgeous booties, oversized T-shirt, quilted handbag and this super flattering poncho wrap. I love the shape of this poncho! You’re able to wear it tied (like I styled here) and also untied to have a more loose-drapey effect. Once the day gets warm take the poncho off and your oversized T-shirt will keep you on trend and cool…wink wink.
This quilted bag can be worn as a satchel or as a cross body bag. You can also take the long straps off. It’s not an oversized bag so it’s perfect for date night and has enough room for your lipgloss, cell phone, wallet, hand sanitizer,etc.
I finished off this look by adding a stack of bracelets, a watch, oversized sunnies and my favorite layering necklaces.
FYI: These boots run true to size. I am wearing the size 7 1/2 here.
