COFFEE TABLE decor inspo

One piece of furniture I absolutely love styling are coffee tables…(aka “cocktail tables”). Since they tend to be the focal point in your room, how you decorate it can make a big difference in the feel of the space. I personally love to go with a more minimal – simplistic approach. I also tend to gravitate towards neutral pieces. The best thing to keep in mind is “less is more”. You can also find creative ways to conceal items that you might not want to have on display i.e., remote controls & coasters can go in a decorative box, etc. I put together a few pieces I personally love that can be styled in many different ways. Be sure to check back for my next Stylin Aylin Home. More tips and decor pieces coming soon.

I love this coffee table. It’s so simple and chíc. It can effortlessly fit into any home and blend in with your existing decor. The natural wood is so pretty and modern. I also like it because any color sofa will go with it. It’s a blank canvas to decorate, and  could lean farmhouse or modern depending on your other decor.

This vase is so beautiful. I love the color and the texture. The collection has 2 different color options in 4 unique shapes. This vase would be pretty on its own or with some faux stems in it to add some green or floral. It would make a great centerpiece on a table or look pretty on a shelf.

I have a candle in almost every room of my home. I really like this one. Candles really change the whole ambiance of a space. I like to have one burning when entertaining guests. It’s not only pretty but it can make your home smell amazing too. They’re also great as decor. I like to stack them on coffee table books or on a tray with matches and a pretty gold snuffer.

Adding in some texture or a piece of decor that provides movement is a must. It helps to add some interest. This dish is perfect for that. I love the neutral color and it’s a great size. You could use this on your coffee table, console table or on a shelf.

Using coffee table books to decorate your home is a quick and easy way to elevate your space. I typically choose the books I use based on their coloring & how pretty the binding is. I’m loving this one for a moody feel and this one for a neutral tone. You can stack them with candles or a decorative bowl. They’re great for styling shelves, coffee tables, trays, etc. Click HERE to see my blog post on coffee table books along with my favorite ones.

Adding in a pop of color can really warm up your space. I love using faux stems. I’t an easy item to swap for the season. These faux magnolia stems are beautiful and high quality. Bundle a few together and throw them into your favorite vase. No one will ever know you don’t have a green thumb.
