Since we’ve been staying home the past month I’ve noticed that my skin care routine has improved. I’ve also been wearing a lot less makeup so it’s been nice to have my skin fully breath and take a little break.  Today I’m so excited to share some of the ways I like to relax and unwind.  Some of them are taking a bath…or give yourself a facial but make it extra special and use a facial steamer. I am so especially excited about this right now because Nordstrom is having a huge spring sale with items up to 60% off. Also, so many beauty products are up to 25% off.  Scroll to the bottom to see a roundup of some of my favorite beauty products.

1. DRAW A BATH : Keep your phone ringer on silent…but tune in to the SPA or YOGA station on Pandora.  Also see below for a spotify playlist!
2. LIGHT CANDLES : This instantly sets the mood for relaxation.
3. HAVE A GLASS OF CHAMPAGNE/WINE : Or if alcohol is off limits try a glass of sparkling Peligrino.  It is one of my favorites!
4. TURN ON AN OIL DIFFUSER : Where has this been my entire life??  It makes your space feel and smell like a SPA
5. USE A SLEEPING MASK :  I always get the best nights sleep when I wear a sleep mask.  It blocks out all the light.  BTW: I’m a light sleeper.

When it comes to having a spa day at home, the one thing that makes it super luxurious is adding in a facial steamer to your routine. There are so many amazing benefits to using a steamer. The Micro-steam helps clean your pores, moisturize your skin, and prep for exfoliation among other things. The best part is that since you are left with clean skin and open pores, your serums and moisturizers can really soak in and you can receive all of their benefits to the fullest.

Wether it’s just lighting a candle, drawing a bath or applying a face mask…take some time out of your day to pamper yourself.  It will help clear your mind & ease anxiety and stress.  One of my favorite masks to use is this one from Peter Thomas Roth!

I love the Bobbi Brown Extra Repair Moisturizing Balm. I’m seriously obsessed with it and have used it for years. I have not been able to find an SPF moisturizer that comes close to this. This has an SPF 25. This product is a really rich balm & it leaves your skin hydrated and dewy looking. It’s amazing I promise.  It also mixes really well with my foundation. I also love the Bobbi Brown Extra Eye Repair Cream. I’ve tried many creams out there and this is by far my favorite one. It’s also a great base for your concealer.

Also I have to share a makeup beauty FAVORITE!!

I’ve been using this product for years…it’s amazing!!

See below and for some other beauty favorites….

I LOOOOVE this Bobbi Brown under eye corrector it is a game changer for the dark areas around your eye. I naturally have really dark veins and areas in the corners near my eye.  This product is like magic.  After applying this they almost disappear and I instantly look more refreshed, awake and bye bye dark spots!  Nordstrom has a color guide on how to choose your color based on the undertones under your eye. This product goes on best with a concealer brush then blended with your fingers or a damp mini beauty blender.

Also, I want to share some relaxing playlists to help you create your at home spa.

This one is true spa music and this one is just great easy listening.

Thank you so much for stopping by the blog today!

Stay safe and healthy!

P.s. A big thank you to Nordstrom for partnering on this post! Everything I share, as always, are my own thoughts and opinions.
