Hi girls, today I want to share a few versatile pieces that can easily be worn for many different occasions. In my opinion, versatile pieces are the best investments for anyone’s closet.  For all the women out there that don’t like to wear the stereotypical “work uniform”, finding versatile pieces that can be worn to work but also on the weekends can be a challenging at times.  Today I rounded up some of my favorite versatile work-wear pieces from Nordstrom! I also rounded up some of Jeff’s favorite versatile work pieces that can go from work to happy hour!

I love pairing light neutral colors, for a very monochromatic look.   I wanted to do light colors for Spring/Summertime so I went with a very lightweight, airy/flowy but classic outfit.  First, I want to talk about these pants because they are a serious game changer when it comes to work wear! They are so easy and breezy made out of satin for a more “dressed up” look with a drawstring waist making them very comfortable and flattering the way they drape loosely against the body.  These pants are such a great versatile piece that could easily be paired with a simple white tee, denim jacket, and sandals for the weekends.  (FYI these pants run true to size I am wearing XS for reference.  Although I did notice the waist band was a little on the tight side.  So if you’re in between sizes you might want to size up one, or order both to see which is more comfortable for you. Next, I want to talk about this super cute tie front blouse that I also got from Nordstrom. This top is very lightweight and slightly see through so I recommend wearing a nude bra, cami, tank etc. I love that this top has sleeves so that it can be worn with or without a jacket and still remains “work appropriate”. The tie in the front is such a cute added detail making the blouse more trendy than your average “work-wear blouse”.  This blouse can easily be worn on the weekends paired with jeans, denim shorts or pants…making it the PERFECT transitional work wear item. This exact top comes in 7 different shades, I am wearing it in the color SOFT ECRU. (FYI: I sized up one to a Small to give it extra length).  Lastly, I want to talk about this classic white blazer. Blazer’s are one of those classic items that will never go out of style. Since they will never go out of style I recommend investing in a couple that you absolutely love.  I couldn’t find the one I am wearing in stock at Nordstrom anymore because I have had it for so long and like I said… will never go out of style. This Blazer is very similar to mine and is the same brand. I tied everything together with simple white flats (linked similar here), oversized sunnies (linked similar here), my favorite neutral handbag, Michele watch, dainty necklaces, and of course statement earrings

I’m not sure if you shop for your husband or not…but I also wanted to share some pieces for that special guy in your life.  Pretty much all of Jeff’s “work” clothes are from Nordstrom.  Similar to myself…he almost always reaches for neutrals that are comfortable without compromising on style.  For work his style is more on the casual side.  He usually wears dark denim jeans for a casual but work appropriate look. For his shoes he like the slip on loafer type in a neutral brown or black color.  See below for a roundup of favorites “for him.”

Thank you so much for visiting my blog today. I hope you were able to help you find some cute versatile work wear pieces!

P.s. A big thank you to Nordstrom for partnering on this post! Everything I share, as always, are my own thoughts and opinions.
