Hi friends! I have to tell you… I was a little emotional yesterday feeling all the things about my babies (not so baby anymore) going back to school. I’m sure all you mama’s out there know exactly how it feels. Two things helped me get through the day…went out for mimosas and brunch with one of my BF’s and the other was hearing how much fun and what a great first day my 2 littles had! After school we had piano lessons and soccer practice. This mama is pooped.
BTW….I found one of the cutest dresses and wanted to share it with you all!
I love a good leopard/Cheetah print as long as it’s done right.
I’m sure you’ve noticed that this season snake print has been all the rage…but to be completely honest I’m not a huge fan of it. However, when you find a little number as cute as this one you have to get it and you HAVE to share your find with all your friends!
I can’t get over how cut this dress is it is the perfect length and cute. This dress has such great movement in the skirt and sleeves because it is made out of really light airy chiffon making it extra flowy. The wrap-look is so flattering and feminine I just love it. And speaking about things I love can we talk about how cute these bell sleeves are? They are so cute and add so much character to this dress. I think it would look super flattering on most body types and for both tall or shorter girls.
You can dress it up with a clutch and heels for an evening look. You could add a leather jacket and booties to give it little edge and can just wear flats or sandals or like I did here…sneakers for a more casual look. I also really love this new YSL Lou Matelassé Leather Camera Bag. So cute in every color it comes in!
Even though this seems like it is a summer dress the long sleeves can easily take you into fall. You can wear it with over the knee boots and a crop jacket. You could add a scarf or even layer a sweater over it. There are so many options for fall especially since the days tend to be a little warm still depending on where you live. Paired with the right accessories, these dresses can get so much more wear out of them. So, before you put them in the back of the closet this fall take a look at warmer clothing you can pair them with to get a little more use out of them!
