Btw: I absolutely love this sweater dress for fall! It’s cute, cozy, and comes in a few colors! Btw: I would size up one on the leggings…I found them to run a little small. (Sweater: wearing the size S. Faux leather leggings: Size Small)
When we remodeled the Kitchen we went for a modern farmhouse style and I absolutely love how it turned out! I found these cute woven barstools to add a little bit more of a neutral color into the mix. They come in two shades of grey as well. For the holidays this season, I add a simple touches that are in the neutral family and always I like to add eucalyptus. I also have a year round wreath above my stove which helps to add a pop of color. I also try to keep fresh white hydrangeas or roses on the island.
Step into my office…. I have to say this is where I get most of my content set up for you guys and am able to work the best. We created this space during the remodel and it was one of the best decisions we could have made. I love having my own space to work that makes me happy and keeps me focused on whatever the task at hand is. We added these sliding barn doors in order to close off the space if needed.
I recently got this beautiful Ornate mirror from Anthropologie for my master bedroom. It is one of my favorite items in my house. It just has a romantic feel to it. It comes in three different sizes and also in Black or silver. It totally transformed our bedroom and I couldn’t love it more! I like keeping the neutral theme cohesive throughout my home but I especially love it in this room. I love all the layers and textured you can add in a neutral pallet and it doesn’t look too busy.
This is the hallway connecting all of our downstairs spaces which makes for the perfect gallery wall. I love how it turned out. Plus I love walking past our favorite family memories every day. Also I love this bookshelf. I am constantly changing the decor on the shelves to keep it looking fresh. Moving items you already have to different spaces is a great decor tip because it’ll feel fresh and new and won’t cost you any money!
Is there anything cozier than soft blankets and plush pillows?! In case you didn’t know this already I am obsessed with both of these things! One trick to making a room ten times cozier is to LAYER. Layer your blankets, layer your pillows, and even layer similar colors on top of each other. I have found that by doing this it really gives your room more dimension and depth.
This is our outdoor dining area. Living in Southern California really is amazing and means that we get to actually enjoy our outdoor spaces almost year round. We recently added this beautiful umbrella which has been a game changer. Obviously because it provides shade but it also keeps the furniture cleaner too. We also have an outdoor living room and after our remodel it is one of our families favorite spaces. The big game changer here was adding drapes to really make the space feel more cozy. I am constantly changing the table decor but for now I am really loving these candles and glass vases. So beautiful when lit at night. You could even buy nice high end LED candles that automatically turn on at dusk. Especially in the summer when the space is used the most.
Btw…here’s another look at my kitchen. I found this cute little light up “bar” sign that I absolutely love! I feel like it is the perfect addition for hosting a party at your home for decoration or actually making a little designated “bar” area even if it is just for your morning espresso! I’ve added a pop of gold and of course fresh flowers to warm things up a bit and add some neutral coloring.
