Stripes are a timeless year round classic.  No matter what the season you can incorporate stripes into your day or night looks.  Today I’m teaming up with Nordstrom to share my 3 TIPS on wearing stripes and some of my favorite striped pieces you can wear Now and wear Later!  They are all available at…I really love how easy they make it to shop!  Free returns and free shipping back if something doesn’t work out.  It’s also my favorite place to buy gifts for friends and family.

I don’t like to have rules…but when it comes to wearing stripes I believe that less is more.  For example if you’re wearing a striped top I would go with a solid colored bottom to give the eye some relief.  If you’re wearing striped pants go with a solid colored top.  If you wear a striped dress keep all accessories, shoes and jackets stripe free.

If you want to have a bolder look I do love the look of print mixing.  For example if you’re wearing a striped top with solid pants add a pair of animal print flats.  Or if you’re wearing jeans and a floral blouse add a striped handbag or tote.

If you’re not really feeling striped clothing I would ease into by adding striped accessories first.  This includes scarves, handbags, shoes, jewelry, etc.

These Topshop pants are one of my favorites!

They run true to size.

I’m wearing the US2 here.

I love the billowy sleeves on this top.  Fyi..I wore a bralette underneath since it’s more open in the front.

I’m wearing the size US6.  I sized up one to get a little extra length since this is a cropped style top.

I’ve also rounded up some other striped options for you below…

Thank you for visiting my blog today!

You can shop this striped top here and the rest of my look below….

P.s.  A big thank you to Nordstrom for partnering on this post!  Everything I share, as always, are my own thoughts and opinions.
